Town Centre Swimming Pool

Swimming is a life skill that once learned can provide enjoyment at all ages. The Recreation Department  offers extensive aquatic programming with something for swimmers of all ages and levels of ability. From leisure swimming, instructional and special interest programming, to aquatic leadership development, we're sure to have something to interest you! Policy

The Corporation of The Township of  Hornepayne -- Department of Recreation reserves the right to withdraw, postpone, cancel, or combine classes when necessary.

Parents On Deck

Parents may view their children on deck on the first and last class of each series. With the exception of these special dates, we ask your cooperation in staying off the deck. Thank you.


Registrations

Please register for your specific swimming lessons at the Pool Control Office in the Town Centre Pool Complex (on first come, first served basis) Register early to avoid disappointment.

Saunas

Both the male and female saunas are open during the entire Aquatic programming hours.

Swim Patrols

 NEW!!! Are your teenagers bored with swimming lessons? Do they have all their swimming badges? The Lifesaving Society is mow offering new and exciting programs called Swim Patrols to peak their interest once again. Get back into the swim of things and register today for the first step towards rewarding job opportunities as a lifeguard.

Aqua Tots

Starting at 4 months of age, your children can learn to be comfortable in the water. An excellent program in which parents are active participants in teaching their children water safety.

AquaQuest

Levels 1-12 , teach basic swimming skills to the non-swimmer right up to advanced lifesaving skills. Young or old, your family members will benefit from the Red Cross program that not only teaches swimming, but water, boat and ice safety—things that, in a northern community like ours, are part of everyday life. So, if you haven’t done so already, register today.

Aqua-Adults

It’s never too late to learn new skills. By closing the window blinds, our friendly staff can teach you to swim in privacy.

Aqua Fitness

Participate in our “ Go at your own speed “ fitness program.

Whether you want to work up a sweat or simply stretch your muscles, get out and get moving. Adjust our program to your own pace.
