Administration Department

 

The Administration Department operates in a team oriented setting and is the direct link between Council and every other department. Within the organization there are four main departments:
  1. Administration
  2. Finance
  3. Public Works
  4. Parks & Recreation

  Our main function is to support, advise and carry out the directions of the five member Council. This Council is composed of a Mayor and 4 Councillors. Council meets every second and fourth Tuesday of each month beginning at 6:00 p.m. and the meetings are open to all members of the public.

 


Our daily activities center around
  • maintaining records of all corporate activity
  • secretarial services
  • composing by-laws
  • inquiries and researching issues
  • generally keeping the Corporation humming
  • economic development assistance
  • tax billing and payments
  • accounting
