A small railway town, situated in the heart of Northern Ontario, halfway between Toronto and Winnipeg. We are only 4 hours drive north of Sault Ste Marie.

Our rugged beauty, abundance of rivers and lakes offers quiet solitude in any season attracting many tourists. We are fast becoming a popular destination for hunters, anglers and tourists alike.

Summertime provides anglers with an assortment of fish species present in all nearby waterways. Lakes with walleye  and northern pike are only a few minutes drive from town.

With the existing snowmobile trail system in Ontario, we are fast becoming a snowmobiler's delight. Snowmobiling has become our number one winter attraction.

Come experience Hornepayne and see for yourself. Tour some of our local businesses and attractions on this web site and you too may want to visit us.

For general tourist information call the Hornepayne Economic Development Office at 1-807-868-2307  Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm

For specific snowmobile information call 1-800-240-4179

                                                                 or 1-807-868-3331
