Hey there!! My name is Gina Smith and my brother told me about this website
the other day! We used to live there about 12 years ago. Well, for those of you
that I haven't talked to in a while, I'm 23 now, living in Mississauga, going to
school for theatre. I've never forgotten about Hornepayne and hopefully I'll be
back for a visit one day soon. If anyone wants to get in touch with me, my
e-mail is grsskittles@hotmail.com

Found this site through my sister...thanks, Pen. I am Debby Fortin, nee Kuhl,
second of Joe and Pearl's four girls. Living in Calgary with my husband, Philip,
and son Gabe. Our daughter, Sarah, lives in Toronto.
The site is great. Love the pictures. I was just there last fall, but it's
nice to have a website where one can wax nostalgic. The older you get, it seems,
the more your roots, define you. So I proudly say, "I am a Hornepayne
girl."

Hi, I also used to live in Hornepayne, and I see a lot of people I know,
signing the guestbook as well as in the pages themselves.
I lived there from about '78 to '95, and have only been back to visit a few
times, but I still miss the place - or more to the point, miss the friends I had
while I was there.... Nothing like waking up at 3 in the morning to Shane
knocking on my window wanting to go for a walk in the rain, or cruising around
town with Joe blasting Barenaked Ladies on the stereo and singing at the top of
our lungs. Swinging at the park with Josh and Erin, discussing girls, movies,
time travel, vampires, and quantum physics; or me and Darcy watching the sunrise
from the hill where the old seperate school used to be, theorizing on the basic
components of energy, light, and life. Playing "A-Team" with Scott and
Jeff Fowler, and knocking over a yield sign as I proceeded to attempt to drive
their dad's van at age 8 or so... Kati getting me a detention in grade 3 for
drawing on our desks... Shooting hoops in Jason's driveway (Even though he
always beat me)... Let's not forget the walks out to !
Cedar Point with Jenn, the lip-syncing to Guns-n-Roses in the backyard with
Larry and his 'Slash' wig.... the many trips to Longlac to see Steph, Ver, Chris
and Billie-Jo... the 'getting crazy with the Cheez Whiz'... Playing pool in
Sal's basement... The love, hate, feuds, friendships and hard times I had
growing up, I would never change given the chance.
If any of this seems familiar to anyone who reads this, send me an email

I lived in Hornepayne as a child from 1982 to 1984. I loved the photo album
especially.
Thanks for the memories.

Hello everyone
What a find! I grew up in Hornepayne and left in 1966. My parents, Joe &
Pearl Kuhl
are still there. It was very nostalgic going through the guest book and seeing
some
familiar names. I was at the Hornepayne Picnic this year for the first time in
over
25 years and it was great. I think I'll definitely plan to come to the 75th
reunion in
2003. I'd love to hear from some of my old classmates and friends. In addition
to those
that Peggy DeCiccio asked about, I was wondering if anyone knows where Ginny
Garrity is
these days. I can be reached at sharman@mazinaw.on.ca.
